Vybe Media built Qayra — an AI-generated persona designed to be the face of Qyraisya Official. Qayra models the brand's hijab collections, represents the brand's identity across content, and gives Qyraisya a consistent, ownable visual presence without the constraints of traditional model production.
Qyraisya Official is a Malaysian tudung brand with a clear visual identity and a growing product range. But like many emerging modest fashion brands, they faced a practical challenge: producing consistent, high-quality modelling content for their hijab collections is expensive, time-consuming, and logistically complex. Booking models, coordinating shoot days, managing lighting and styling for every new product drop — at the pace a growing brand needs to move, traditional production becomes a bottleneck.
Beyond the production constraint, there was a deeper opportunity. Rather than using interchangeable models across different campaigns — creating no lasting brand recognition — Qyraisya had the chance to build something more: a single, consistent brand character that audiences could recognise, follow, and connect with over time. A face that was truly theirs.
The challenge was building that character in a way that felt authentic to the brand, visually consistent enough to anchor Qyraisya's content, and flexible enough to model new collections and appear across different campaign contexts without losing coherence.
Vybe Media approached this as a character design and AI systems project in equal measure. Building Qayra meant two things: defining who she is as a character — her look, her personality, the way she carries the brand — and then building the technical engine that could generate her consistently across different contexts, outfits, and content formats.
Persona Design — Who is Qayra? Before any generation, we defined Qayra as a complete character. Her appearance was designed to reflect Qyraisya's brand values — modest, confident, and quietly elegant — with a look that feels distinctly Malaysian and genuinely representative of the brand's audience. Her name, Qayra, was chosen deliberately: it carries meaning and gives her an identity that exists beyond the images.
Persona Engine — Building the system: With Qayra's character defined, we built the AI persona engine that powers her — the underlying system that allows Qyraisya to generate new content featuring Qayra modelling different hijab styles, in different settings, for different campaigns, while maintaining the visual consistency that makes her recognisable.
Raya Audio Branding Project: As part of the Qayra rollout, Vybe Media also delivered a Raya audio branding project for Qyraisya — creating branded audio content timed to the Hari Raya season that extended Qayra's presence beyond visual outputs and into audio-led campaign formats. This gave Qyraisya a multi-format brand asset that worked across social content, reels, and promotional material during one of the most competitive periods in the Malaysian modest fashion calendar.
What makes Qayra different from a generated image: Most AI-generated content is one-off and interchangeable. Qayra is a brand asset — a character with a defined identity, a name, a tagline, and a consistent appearance that Qyraisya owns. Every output featuring Qayra builds recognition for the brand, not just fills a content slot.
Qayra exists as a fully operational brand persona for Qyraisya Official. The brand can now generate modelling content featuring Qayra across their hijab collections — new styles, new colourways, new seasonal campaigns — without coordinating a shoot, booking a model, or waiting on a production timeline. The content pipeline that once required days of planning can now move at the speed of the brand.
The consistency of Qayra's appearance across outputs means that audiences encountering Qyraisya's content repeatedly will start to recognise her — building the kind of brand association that interchangeable stock photography or one-off model shoots never could. She is Qyraisya's face in a way that no hired model can be: she belongs to the brand entirely, her look doesn't change between campaigns, and she can be wherever the brand needs her to be.
The Raya audio branding project extended Qayra's reach into a new format — giving Qyraisya a seasonal campaign asset that worked across reels, social content, and promotional materials during one of the most important retail moments of the year for Malaysian Muslim consumers.
Qayra is not a campaign. She is a long-term brand asset — one that grows in value the more Qyraisya uses her, because every output builds the recognition that makes the next one more effective.
